Carrie or Jess?
Ok…this is the only time that I’ll bring this subject up (probably..lol) but since I live and work in Hollywood, the business surrounds me. If I tell someone that I run a Cowboy’s blog, they all ask about Jessica. I get sick of it, but it is a part of the business that [...]

SI agrees with me about Backup QB Don Banks of Sports Illustrated ranked the 32 best backup QB’s in the NFL and he has Brad Johnson at #11. This supports what I’ve been saying…there aren’t many quality QBs in the NFL so to find a decent backup QB is like trying to find the Unicorn.
I don’t understand all the crying about the [...]
A Little Miffed About Strahan I know it isn’t official that Strahan is coming back, but I’m not exactly happy about this whole situation right now. Michael Strahan, or as I like to call him Teeth, decided he would prance his way over to Dallas’s training camp to watch practice, for training camp purposes of course. He was asked if [...]
Cowboys, Best on Paper? If you do any sports reading whatsoever, you must have heard this statement, “The Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the NFC on paper.” Maybe I’m just being defensive but I take offense to that. Dallas went 13-3 last year, which by the way, was tied for best in the NFC with Green Bay.
Dallas [...]
The Dallas Cowboys Olympics Jean-Jacques Taylor reports that there are rumblings of a Cowboys WR vs. DB 4×100 relay. Terrell Owens and Ken Hamlin have been having spirited debates about who would win. My money is on the DBs.
The CBs hare filled with burners. Orlando Scandrick, Mike Jenkins, Adam Jones, and Terence Newman are all legitimate 4.3 speed guys. [...]

Cowboys Cut 5 Today the Cowboys say goodbye to backup punter Jay Ottovegio, cornerback Quincy Butler, wide receiver Daniel Polk, quarterback Jeff Terrell, and came to an injury settlement with fullback Ronnie Cruz.
Not terribly surprising. Quincy Butler did return to practice last week but it looks like Wade Phillips just grew weary of Butler hardly ever participating in [...]
Michael Strahan back to the Giants? In the aftermath of Osi Umenyiora’s left knee injury there has been talk of Michael Strahan could return to the Giants. John Clayton reports for ESPN that Strahan would be interested in playing for 8 million and a “pretty please” from the Giants.
There’s still no confirmed word from the Strahan camp if he’d pass up [...]
Nick Folk’s Kickoffs This has been bugging me for quite some time. It even predates Nick Folk’s arrival in Dallas. But I want to know why Dallas continues to want those sky high kickoffs that land inside the 5 yard line. With more and more gifted atheletes returning kicks and punts I wonder why Dallas doesn’t ask their [...]
DMN Roster Projection I know that I’ve been hard on the Dallas Morning News of late but I do try to keep it real and show them props when they deserve it. And this is why I like Tim MacMahon’s work so much. He may say the occasional foolish thing but overall he’s pretty solid.
I couldn’t see a single flaw [...]
NFL Preseason Joke Very good friend of the TDCS, Halen88, just made a video stealing my thunder about this topic of Preseason being a joke. I was just going to write a blog about how useless half of the preseason is. Especially this last one coming up where the starters get like 6 snaps and usually something very [...]
