I am very happy with my Dallas Cowboys this season. I think we have done a great job so far to be looking 8-3 in the face...It's awesome. We will get to enjoy meaningful football in December.

Michael Irvin. Searching around on Youtube I came across this interview he did with Sid Rosenberg from WQAM in Miami on Thursday morning.
This interview was done hours before the story drops about Irvin being named in a civil suit where he is accused of rape.

Very dry right now as it’s all about the Saints and their Super Bowl victory.
A few one liners…

Just ask Shango and he’ll tell you I had this Superbowl down like no one else in the media. I said that Peyton Manning would need about 35 points to even THINK about winning the game. I told him that the Colts would have several stalled out drives thanks to Peyton (the end total was [...]

With the draft order almost set here’s a premature mock draft. Since I don’t expect too much movement in free agency because of the current conditions in the CBA. But there could be some significant trades made so all of this is certain to change.

Amen, Amen, Amen!!! Great video! the thing that irritates me is that when it comes to the website guys and espn, they have a common problem: When its time to discuss the Cowboys, its always off the field issues, he said/she said, chemistry, and the list goes on. the point is, they will go out of their way to talk about anything but FOOTBALL, especially espn. the website itself has a very smart aleck and "i told you so" attitude. its like they are more concerned about winning the argument of the week than discussin FOOTBALL. You took the words out of my mouth when you talked about the running game keepin the defense fresh. As i recall, i had a blog post entitled "More methodical Offense Makes for Fresher Defense". Had we passed it like we did in GB, there is no way we stop the skins in the fourth quarter of that game. all those three and outs make the defense feel like they have actually played 6 quarters. You CANNOT repeatedly ask your defense to step up under those conditions. the thing that those idiots at the Cowboys website dont understand, is that we dont want to run every down, like you said, but rather we should run it more often and more strategically. Worst case scenario-three straight runs and a punt. Even so, that takes more time than three passes and a punt. And late in the season, the freshest defense will be the one who gets that turnover or three and out late in the game. Its not our idea to run to win necessarily, but it is our mentality to be balanced, not be predictable, and play to our strengths. The stats favor our argument, Shango. When you look at TOP in games that we pass too much, its obvious. You cant score or keep the other team from scoring when you pass and punt every down. It was 3-0 til late in the third of the GB game...can someone tell me why we are passin here??? Bottom line for the players-Roy has got to step up, Tony has to keep doin his thing, and Secondary needs to get healthy and get hot again. For the coaches-COMMIT TO THE RUN, COMMIT TO THE RUN. and COMMIT TO THE RUN. Last two games were both close for most of the game..the difference-Defense was gassed at the end of the

Dont sleep on the Raiders. The Dallas Cowboys always get everybodys' best shot week in and week out. Always have, always will. 8-3 after Thanksgivin and then a much needed long week to get ready to knock the hell and three dollars out of December.

just here to stir crap up
November 24, 2009 at 2:09 am
But I agree with you...for the most part.
I think 10 - 6 is about right but I can see 9-7 or 11-5. I do not see a playoff win but it could happen.
We will have to be 11-5 for the playoffs...that'll be real tough.
